Caddo deputies charge two in separate financial crimes

 

A Florida man faces a second charge of identity theft after allegedly stealing the personal information of a Caddo Parish resident.

Kevin James Lynch, 50, of Delray Beach, Florida, is accused of obtaining a $32,000 line of credit in the name of an 81-year-old Shreveport man.

Lynch is currently in the Caddo Correctional Center. He also faces an earlier charge of identity theft for obtaining multiple lines of credit using a Blanchard woman’s identity.

Lynch has no connection to either victim, and it’s not known how he obtained their personal information.

In an unrelated case, a woman facing a felony theft has turned herself in.

Charlene Jimison, 55, turned herself in to the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office Dec. 17.

She's accused of failing to pay more than $42,000 for materials and labor for work a subcontractor did on a building Jimison was leasing.

Also arrested recently were:

Tierra Williams, 18, on a felony theft charge. She allegedly for misappropriated more than $4,600 while working as a cashier at Wal-Mart in November and December.
