Robber most recently targeted Wells Fargo bank branch in Wilton Manors
WILTON MANORS, Fla. - FBI agents are searching for a man who they believe was involved in at least eight bank robberies throughout South Florida.
The most recent bank robbery was reported Tuesday at a Chase Bank in Jupiter.
A robbery was also reported at 2:21 p.m. Monday at the Wells Fargo at 2525 N. Dixie Highway. in Wilton Manors.
FBI spokesman Jim Marshall said the robber, who was wearing a hat and a plaid shirt, entered the bank and demanded cash from an employee.
Surveillance video shows the man taking a wad of cash from the teller.
No injuries were reported.
The robber was reported just three days after a bank robbery was reported in Coconut Creek.
The robber was seen wearing the same plaid shirt and brown hat as he targeted a PNC branch, authorities said.
Agents said the man hit up another PNC Bank branch on Commercial Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale on the same day.
Agents said he was wearing a brown shirt and ball cap during that robbery.

He also looks similar to a bank robber in Boynton Beach, who wore medical scrubs and a surgical hat while targeting a Chase Bank on North Congress Avenue.
Agents said the man in that case posed as a customer and handed a teller a cryptic note, demanding money.
The woman read it and when she appeared to hesitate, the man motions to something on his side.
The teller eventually complied with his demands and handed over an undisclosed amount of cash.
