Two arrested for stealing bank card info at Macon restaurant
According to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, deputies arrested 27-year-old Sage Bowman and 22-year-old Mary Campbell for bank card fraud and identity theft.
Two people were arrested Friday for stealing and using customers' bank card information at a Macon restaurant.
According to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, deputies arrested 27-year-old Sage Bowman and 22-year-old Mary Campbell for bank card fraud and identity theft.
The release says Campbell gained access and possession of the victim’s financial transaction card while employed at the Margarita’s Mexican Restaurant located at 5451 Bowman Road, where the victims used their cards for payment.
Campbell is charged with 12 counts of Financial Identity Fraud and 1 count of Financial Transaction Card Fraud. Bowman is charged with 1 count of obstruction and 1 count Financial Transaction Card Fraud.
Campbell is currently being held in the Bibb County jail with a bond of $28,250. Bowman was released on a $4,250 bond.
